Last week the Kolkata edition of Startup Knockdown was concluded successfully with Airlines Technology and Izifiso emerging as the winners. The event was highly appreciated by participants and attendees alike. The startups received valuable inputs from the mentors to fine tune their business processes and even got invited by NASSCOM and Calcutta Angels for further discussions. Now we are all set for the Hyderabad edition of the event during TTF Hyderabad and just like the previous event, our partners have been really helpful in putting it all together. Started in early 2015, Funstay has grown leaps and bounds in its reach and now has the largest listings of homestay in India and is also the fastest growing homestay portal in terms of number of property listings.
The journey of Funstay is not that of a typical business, rather it is a journey of five friends with one common passion-Travel. Ever since they completed their education, each one of them has travelled widely both within the country and abroad. During these travel experiences, many a times they had stayed with locals at their homes, stayed in a village hut or in a cottage between vast coffee plantations.
